sometimes i feel so insecure about other people having this and that. but today when I met Mr. *******, I realized that my life isn't so bad after all, and I have to be thankful for all the little and BIG things coming my way..

I had a "once in a lifetime" experience today interviewing someone who sold his kidney, i don't think many will ever experience doing this, and I think that in this short-lived life of ours, we just have to cherish every second of it, and be thankful for every little blessing that we receive..

one VERY expensive watch.

minutes ago, I was surfing the internet..yet again, my attention was drawn to the word "Patek Phillipe". The only thing that i know about it, is that it's a brand of ridiculously expensive watches. Watches afforded only by the the super rich people..by the way, who spends millions on a watch? lol..anyway...

Before being totally turned-off by the unreasonable price of this watch, i tried to google pictures of it and I was glued to the screen of my computer after seeing this:

this watch is the Patek Philippe "Supercomplication" pocket watch. I've never seen one, but it's on my list of things to buy when I get really rich..too bad the company only produced 4 of these babies. Unfortunately, they were made in 1989, the year I was born, so apparently with only four watches made I don't think there are any left. Too bad.

Well, it costs 6 million dollars, a piece! and it weighed 3lbs (seriously, too heavy for a watch). with 33 functions.

I hope by the time I have become a multi millionaire, sharing the ranks of Oprah in the Forbes' wealthiest women..LOL,  Patek Phillipe, has yet again created a stylish watch like this..by then I'm hoping to buy one..

I highly recommend reading this book..i have only read one chapter and I feel the change already (no kidding!) It's so positive, and i'm hoping to read the whole book already.

I was so hyped to post it here, because I'm not the type that reads a book because everyone else around me reads it.  And this is one of THOSE books, that I'm really hooked. It sort of changes your perspective in life. And come to think of it, i've only read one chapter..=)

It's similar to those "chicken soup for the soul" type of books..

2 more years 'til 2012! happy new year!!!

 yup, 2 more years 'til the end of the world

What's new this year? for me..hmm, i'm still eating my favorite canned tuna for dinner, cold and straight from the can..LOL

seriously, i've had better new year's and christmas celebrations in the past. Probably, in the "in-between" stages of your life, when your not "really" an adult and not a child anymore, these holidays just get lame-er and lame-er. Last year's holdays were ok, i had fun.

I kinda miss, the 'ol days when Santa was so much alive in my heart. I used to write a wishlist for my Christmas presents and woke up on the 25th to find that a majority of my gifts are under the Christmas tree. We had a scrawny christmas tree back then. The ones made of plastic with uber-sharp leaves. We filled it with Christmas lights and balls that we used every single year. But what made Christmas special were the gifts underneath the tree. I only had one brother, meaning there were only two of us. So SANTA, kinda gave us pretty much everything that I asked for. ( well the affordable ones, i remember asking for a gameboy and a puppy one time and they never came..i wonder? LOL)

I couldn't remember that fortunate day when I woke up, not believing in Santa anymore. I figured, we never had a chimney but he always had my presents ready on Christmas day.

Who could forget the days when we used to jump at exactly 12 midnight, so that we would grow taller..yeah, it didn't work for me..hahahaha

So it's 2010! 2 more years 'till the end of the world..according to the Mayan civilization that is..2 more years and if the prophecy is true, were all doomed unless someone makes an improvised-modern-state of the art "noah's ark" to save all of mankind..=)
