i wanna be a billionaire

Oh every time I close my eyes,
I see my name in shining lights.
A different city every night,
oh I swear the world better prepare
for when I’m a billionaire.

Rise and Rise again until Lambs become Lions.

So for my second movie last weekend, I decided to see Robin Hood, just because I was too late to catch the next earliest time slot for Iron Man 2...bummer*..but this movie sure didn't fail me. Although it was quite long, and the beginning of the movie had too much talk that i almost dozed off. But when the action began, My eyes were glued to the screen, I just love how action movies become 100x more exciting when you watch them in cinemas, due to the awesome Dolby digital settings that they use at theaters.

Rusell Crowe and Cate Blanchett played their parts to utmost perfection. Although the movie wasn't quite like what I remember watching when I was a kid(where Robin Hood, was a FOX?!) where they emphasized how Robin Hood used to steal for the poor. This was more of a Prequel to that story..

Over-all I LOVED IT. <3

from the beautiful mountains of Benguet!

I am definitely a sucker for Philippine romance movies. Well, in times like these where my country is literally a living Oven toaster...It would just be right to go to the theaters and sit for 2+ hours in cold satisfaction...

Well, as for the movie...it was you're typical Pinoy movie, nothing new, for the poster itself is a dead giveaway of the ENDING of the movie...darn, i think the word "TWIST" doesn't quite exist in a majority of Philippine films today...

Oh well, over-all I give it a 4 out of five due to the temperature inside the Theater, and the effort of the main actors to try make me laugh...=)

who we really are..

Who are we anyway? I think that most of us are just mere copies of the celebrities and famous personalities that we see on television. As I was surfing, I stumbled upon a certain tumblr account, of which I don't know the author of the said tumblr account LOL...

In her tumblr account was a post about a front cover of a magazine and it said "Beth Ditto is the coolest girl". So I was wondering who on Earth is this Beth Ditto. And to my surprise she was quite a "scandal"..here is what I read from wikipedia.com:

"Ditto, who is lesbian, is well known for her outspoken support of both LGBT and feminist causes.[2] She is a close friend of Scissor Sisters lead singer Ana Matronic, and considers her favorite song to be "Oh Bondage, Up Yours" by X-Ray Spex. She courted mild controversy in 2006 when, during an interview for NME magazine, she claimed to have eaten squirrels as a child, saying that "people in Arkansas just do – they'd think you were a freak if you ate squid there!"[3]"
At first glance I found her quite bizaare, but as I sat in front of my computer I began to realize that she was merely being herself. As an artist, we just couldn't expect anything less extraordinary out of her. I soon began to listen to her songs, and read articles about her.

In this fast paced world, where everything else is surrounded by high-tech what-nots and science has finally found it's place on top of everything else we just find the more 'simpler' things absurd and bizaare.

To Beth Ditto, Cheers to you! You are one heck of a lady, and I love your individualism and how care-free you are. In this world, we have every right to be what we want to be, and do anything that will make us happy, and it doesn't matter if the outside world has lots if pressures; and by the way all of us are pretty and beautiful in our own little way, even if we don't live up to the standards of today's "conventional" beauties.

RESTARTING...

So I am officially a lost soul...My last post was about me getting accepted in a Travel agency. So guess what guys? I QUIT MY JOB...These days I just laugh it off, but believe me, I used to cry every time I get home...well I didn't like it. Working there felt like a flat line, no thrills, not even frills ( if you get what I'm saying). I wasn't really employed officially, meaning I really didn't sign any papers or contracts before I quit, so my 5 day employment, wasn't really an employment after all.

On my second day of work, i seriously wanted to quit. It wasn't very interesting, and the office was no fun at all. Seriously, I wasn't really looking for a theme park for the "fun" part, i just wanted people to start talking, and joking, and having a good time, but it seemed like everyone was a workaholic, and the office was so bland, literally. there weren't any colors, it was just plain white. And the uniforms were white. GO FIGURE

Some people might say that i was stupid because i let go of this "job", because there are so many unemployed people around the world. Well, all i can say to that is, We live in this world to enjoy life, so if ever you are going to engage in something, better make sure that you will ENJOY it. We only have one life and ONE chance to live it to the fullest, and with the threat of the "END OF THE WORLD" this coming 2012 (LOL), better find a job that you won't regret doing. So for me the search is on!...

BTW thanks for everyone who's been adding me on blogged.com..thanks lots!
